Coral: Hydrangea Goniopora
Goniopora sp.
Size: Colony size varies by the selected specimen. Extended polyps may reach well beyond the visible skeleton. For scale, three frag plugs are 1 1/8 of an inch.
Difficulty: Moderate
Lighting: Moderate
Water flow: Low to moderate, indirect and variable
A beautiful and hard pink blue and yellow Goniopora with the pastel colors of the Hydrangea flower.
Provide enough room for full polyp extension and avoid strong direct flow. The polyps should sway gently rather than remain pinned in one direction. Stable water chemistry and occasional feeding with fine particulate coral foods can support long-term health and growth.
