Mushroom Corals for Sale

Mushroom Corals for Reef Aquariums

Mushroom corals are popular with reef keepers for their vibrant colors, unusual patterns and wide variety of appearances. At Lucky Corals, our Mushroom Coral selection ranges from affordable colorful mushrooms to rare collector varieties. Our inventory changes regularly and may include Ricordea Yuma, Bounce Mushrooms, Jawbreakers, Eclectus Mushrooms, Discosoma and other unique varieties.

Many of our Mushroom Corals are individually photographed, allowing you to choose based on the color, pattern, size and appearance of the actual coral available for sale.

Popular Types of Mushroom Corals

Ricordea Yuma mushrooms are known for their textured appearance and ability to develop combinations of green, orange, yellow, blue, pink and other fluorescent colors. Individual Yumas can vary dramatically in appearance, making especially colorful specimens popular with collectors.

Bounce Mushrooms are distinguished by enlarged vesicles or bubbles that can create a dramatic appearance. Popular Bounce varieties can range from relatively affordable specimens to rare collector mushrooms with exceptional coloration and bubble development.

Jawbreaker Mushrooms are prized for colorful patterns that can develop and change as the coral matures. Depending on the specimen, Jawbreakers may display combinations of red, orange, yellow, green, purple and other colors.

Eclectus Mushrooms are another highly collectible group known for striking multicolor patterns and substantial variation between individual specimens.

Our selection can also include Discosoma and other Mushroom Corals in a broad range of colors, sizes and price points. Because many individual mushrooms develop unique coloration and patterns, browsing the current inventory is often the best way to find the right coral for your reef.

Mushroom Coral Care

Many Mushroom Corals are relatively hardy, making them appealing to both newer reefkeepers and experienced collectors. Most prefer low lighting, generally 30–100 PAR, and gentle water flow. However, ideal conditions vary between Discosoma, Rhodactis, Ricordea yuma, Ricordea florida, and individual collector varieties.

Mushroom Corals can expand considerably once comfortable, so allow adequate space around them and consider their potential growth when choosing placement. Stable aquarium conditions are important for long-term health.
