Crown Leather Corals are hardy soft corals with a lobed, crown-like growth form and numerous small polyps. Give the coral room to expand and grow without shading neighboring corals. Crown leather corals are brighter green than the majority of leather corals and make excellent centerpieces.

Crown Leathers may periodically retract their polyps and develop a waxy-looking surface before shedding an outer layer. Moderate water movement helps remove this layer and allows the polyps to reopen.
