Critical Mass Mushroom Coral is a hardy Discosoma variety featuring a light blue and dark purple base, orange or multicolor spotting and a contrasting green rim. The balance of blue, purple, orange and green varies naturally among individual specimens.

This colorful mushroom is well suited to reef keepers looking for a relatively forgiving coral. Begin with subdued lighting and low, indirect water movement while it adjusts to your aquarium. Discosoma mushrooms can expand, move and reproduce after becoming established, so provide sufficient room around the selected placement.
