Goniopora sp.

Difficulty: Moderate
Lighting: Moderate
Water flow: Low to moderate, indirect and variable

Blue Goniopora are flowing flowerpot corals with blue, teal or blue-purple coloration. Shade, center color and pattern vary among the individually photographed specimens.

Provide enough room for full polyp extension and avoid strong direct flow. The polyps should sway gently rather than remain pinned in one direction. Stable water chemistry and occasional feeding with fine particulate coral foods can support long-term health and growth.
