Cynarina are the hardiest large solidtary LPS coral. They have an excellent ability to heal from injuries. This corals bright yellowish green color along with its hard to find splatter pattern makes it a wonderful addition to a reef tank.

Splatter Cynarina Care

Place this Cynarina in low-to-moderate lighting and gentle, indirect water flow. Strong flow can prevent full inflation or damage its delicate tissue against the skeleton. A stable location on the sand bed is ideal. Maintain consistent alkalinity, calcium and magnesium levels, and for optimal growth occasionally offer an appropriately sized meaty food when the coral displays a feeding response (outstretched tentacles when lights are off).

Allow enough space between the Cynarina and nearby corals for full inflation. Avoid placing it against sharp rockwork that could injure its expanded tissue.
