Lighting: Low to moderate
Water flow: Moderate to strong, indirect flow. Elegance corals are often placed in flow that is too low; provide substantial water movement without directing a concentrated pump stream at the coral.
Placement: Sand bed or a stable lower area of the aquarium
Temperament: Semi-aggressive; allow room around extended tentacles
Feeding: Photosynthetic, but occasional small meaty foods or coral pellets may be beneficial
Elegance Corals expand considerably when comfortable. Provide enough open space so their tissue and tentacles do not repeatedly contact neighboring corals or sharp rockwork. Avoid placing the fleshy underside against rough surfaces.
